Donate Your Ponytail NYC is a new fundraising component of FreeWigsforCancer.com. Together with The Cancer Society's Free Wig Program, we are focused on defraying or eliminating the costs involved in providing synthetic and human hair wigs to cancer patients. It is our hope that as our program expands, we can guarantee free wigs for children 13 and under.
Mission Statement
Our mission is to support the self-esteem and dignity of cancer patients throughout their treatments by doing what we do best - hair and music.
How you can help
We use hair in two ways, we sell hair to raise funds for our program, and we supply ponytails to wig makers we already work with in order to secure discounts on wigs we purchase. If you would like to donate a ponytail, please visit: www.ifnothingeverchanged.com for a list of participating salons who will cut your hair. Please call individual salons to ask for details on what discount they may be offering for that service.
